There was much gnashing of teeth two years ago to reduce the harvest.

But it is paying in off in hordes of nice crabs this season. I have a lot of slobs in my keeper pot:

I gotta' agree.

I moved back to MD in '93 and this is the best crabbing I can remember in those 17 years. Maybe not the biggest, yet, but in terms of overall numbers and future outlook, just fantastic!!!

Agreed paxfish. I've been doing great this year. Deep water has been the key though, most jumbos are coming in 12ft of water.
