Went to Smith Mountain Lake last week. Had a good time. Caught many bass.
Whats up with crabbing? Still a ton of sub-legals out there?
Fall is on the way now! Yippy!

Still lots of little crabs and not many keepers. This board had been about as dead as a 90 year old's snood! Still looking forward to fall though unless the little ones found out where the big ones went:eek2: welcome back!...........Gary

Tim - For me, crabbing and fishing was always my release from daily pressures, family issues, money worries, etc. I could always just look at my crabbing skiff to feel a sense of calm and happiness. Catching a bushel of nice crabs was a bonus but the process of crabbing was never considered work and getting up at 0-dark thirty was always a rush.... anticipation. Simple pleasures my friend and better than Prozac.
I hear you Jim but you roll out of bed and into the skiff. I got an hour of road between me and the crab.That adds plenty of stress, especially with all the aggressive drivers out there. Then you got to fight to get a spot and then some one lays right on top of you. In the right conditions, it is a big stress reliever but lately it has not been...........Gary

Hey guys.... As soon as the MD lottery commission sends me the check we're having a big "to do" at Len's. The first 25 TF board contributors to attend get at least a half Mil. The 26th atendee gets to bait my line. :-)
