Went out on Friday on low in coming tide and caught loads of croaker within sight of the Lagrange daymarker. Normal size in shallow water, bigger ones in deep water. Used bloodworms and shrimp, majority caught on shrimp. Moved over to #6 and to see if I could pick up an early flatfish, and caught striper after striper with an occassional white perch and croaker on minnows. All the stripers were about 12 to 14 inches. Too bad can't keep a couple of those. I miss those pan sized rock on my dinner table. Got off the water just in time for the Memorial Day idiots coming out of Robinson Creek (Bethpage). I will stay off the rivah til things get back to normal on Tuesday. Good fishin!
