Looks like another year had passed. Anyone fishing the Reedville Bluefish Derby this weekend. Looks like the weather is going to hold up. Calling for south winds, 1 footers. Of course things could change between now and then. Its for a good cause. Especially when you need Smith Point Sea Rescues services.

I'll be there thursday thru sunday....
can anyone tell me if there is an earlier start time this year..I heard it may be lines in at 6 am...

I stand to be corrected, but I don't think they have the morning check-in anymore. You can start at whatever time you can get out. Use to be you had to pass the inspection boat on the way out so they could see the number on your boat. Think that stopped a couple of years back.

This link I found has some info regarding the tournament on it. It just says 6:30am. I don't know whether it means lines in the water by 6:30am, a shot gun start at 6:30, or what. I guess we will find out at the captains meeting!!
