The "Banana"?

I'm new to fishing in the area. A friend recommended I fish the Banana at the cell. I see the cell on my chart but what is and where is "the Banana"? Thanks. Mike on the Nordic Angler

I do not know of the "Banana" near the cell..If he is referring to the "Bananna Hole" That is north of the cell a good ways and can be seen on your chart not far from the "Ghost Hole"....
"Bananna Hole" TD numbers 27297.2 & 41807.1......It is a deep hole shaped like a Bananna and can be easily seen on your chart.

Thanks HCKUSE for the info. My friend was telling me about places to try when his cell phone cut out from the middle of the bay. I might have incorrectly assumed that "the Banana" was next to the cell.

With reference to the Seawolfes quetion; I do not know of anything going on over there @ this time as I have kinda been out of the loop fishing in those areas.
