I had a great day yesterday on a low incoming tide fishing the drop off near buoy 6. Caught one keeper flounder as that was what I was after but the horse croaker would not leave my minnows alone. We caught some of the biggest croaker of the year here. One over 3lbs. Many others in the 2 to 2 1/2 lb range all on minnows. Catch all the croakers you want but leave some flounders for me.

Good for you! I fished the spit off Hunton Creek (7R) yesterday on incoming. Got 8 throwback flounder up to 14 inches, and had a good one on but lost it. Also about a half dozen nice croaker and one 1.5 lb blue. Should have had minnows! Just used squid and some cut croaker. Omega was fishing the mouth of the river hard.
