Been fishing a spot the last week or so from my yak tearing up some smallies. Sat /28 had a 30 fish day +1 Walleye. Found an ultralite rod & reel on the bottom and brought it up (if its yours contact me with id and location). This rig is a little lighter than my prefered but it was working fine and line looked good so what the heck took it with on Tuesday eve . Must be some mojo on this thing didn't get as many fish but did hook a 3 #er and had a similar size fish trying to get to the
jig in his mouth. Got a couple of 2#'s before I quit.
Got out this morning 10:30 bright sun & getting hot second fish of the day 4#s . I know the low river levels are not to everyones liking but I find that it can really concentrate the fish and if you are willing to work a little to get to certain spots it can really pay off.
