Got a bushel after breaking my line on a snagdoh Boy was that a pain. Got them at a fairly decent rate, many doubles. Got a few just swimming by. Average size is getting bigger. Lots between 6 1/2 and a few pushing 8" . Lots of fish poping every where first thing in the am. I guess they were perch. Not as much bo0at traffic as I thought there would be.

Good job on the Crabs, the Elk has been good as of late. I was out Sunday and did well with a trotline. I have become fairly proficient at breaking my line. When I do, I run it from one end until I find the break, then I tie off an empty bottle and go to the other end and run it. When I get to the end of that one, I drag the lines togther and retie. Seems to work fairly well. I am sure it is going to become a more common occurence as my line ages.

That is exactly what I did. Wasnt so bad, picked up crabs going both ways.
