I got a late start on Saturday but still managed to have a pretty good day catching croaker. I left the urbanna creek landing about 10:15 and headed for Waterview. We fished above waterview for about an hour and a half and caught fish pretty consistently. Picked up and ran to the Red Barns and caught fished consistently for the next hour and a half. Ran to the marker in front of the Carratoman, nada. Ran across the river and drifted in front of Christ Church school marina and caught a few. Back at the dock by 3:30. Ended up catching probably around 50 croaker on everything from shrimp, bloodworm, squid and Rapp sandwhich. I hope this helps.

Kingfish had to give you the fast low down didn't think about giving you depths as I was leaving out as I posted(to take Josh fishing for the afternoon). Good to hear you caught fish. If you bmail me next time I'll see if I can give you a little better info. Great catch and thanks for the report. Josh and I fished Friday afternoon at the river house up near Garretts out of the Jon boat for 1.5 hours and caught 25 croaker(Could have caught more but that was all I wanted to clean for us, my dad and Joshs other grandfather). out in front of Randy Sparks place( If your reading Randy you should be fishing off your community pier) and took about and hour and a half swim to finish off a good father/son evening. If you want to see how much you've forgot about having fun spend a afternoon on a kids schedule.

No problem on the depth info. We had a great day other than having to spend about a half an hour cleaning battery connectors to get the boat started once we got to waterview.
I will touch base next time.

I fished down at Ragged Point light and I caught a lot of W. Perch some 11 inches. I also caught about 40 medium sized spot. Anybody catching any Spanish yet on the Potomac or in the area of buoy #7 or #5? I was using bloodworm. Squid caught nothing. I want to flounder fish too in the same area. Anybody caught ant Flounder in the area of the Potomac?
