A few weeks ago I purchased a new Thompson Center "Impact" 50cal Black Powder Gun w/ a scope (combo package). It stayed in the box for a week at home, when I pulled it out of the box, it was apparent that it had a defect. I called the gun shop and was told by (2) employees that gun sales are "final", and I had to send it back to TC myself. I called TC and they had Fed EX pick it up the next day w/o charge. I wrapped it up and put a brief letter explaining what happened w/ all my contact info. In a few days I was on the horn w/ customer service and they were great. Biggest issue is they have a 6-8 week turn around time frame, and that would be very close to opening day. I explained this to them and they put me in touch w/ a supervisor. He in turn called me and we discussed the issues at hand and he decided to upgrade me to a "Triumph" at no charge as a jesture to make things "right". 3 days later I had the new Triumph delivered ..... and it gets even better. The Triumph's aren't sold as combo packages w/ scopes and I knew I was going to buy a scope ........ good thing I waited because they included a 3-9 X 40 scope in the box, one of their best scopes they offer. I sighted it in today at the club ......... couldn't be happier. :clapping2:

Funny thing is I returned to that store, saw a manager and told her the story, and was advised that Black Powder Guns can be exchanged because they aren't included in all that federal paperwork. How funny is that ?????? :hysterical: And she gave me a $50 gift card for my troubles. http://www.tidalfish.com/images/smilies/dance.gif

Good to hear that they took care of you. My pop owns a gunshop up in NY and has always has great things to say about TC Arms. BTW, you'll love the Triumph. I have the full camo one and love it!!
