rpt. 6/24, 25 Rapp/b42

trolled Windmill Bar Fri. eve. to raise some blues to 17" ; but no spanish yet; a friend (FreeSpool) called on VHF from over at b42 and had 4 keeper flatties from noon to 5pm and was on his way back across.

early Sat. a.m. - loaded the crew up on BIG croaker at the Range Light to satisfy easy pullage and off to b42 we went to drift for a flattie; got one 25" and another 22" on two decent drifts, more pesky BIG croaker in the mix, as well. Back to the dock by 3 pm. with meat to fry.

Sounds like a nice weekend on the bay- the spanish shouldnt be too far off- theyve been catchin them at the piers off the beach for a few weeks now; another two weeks and they should be here, or they can go on hiatus for another year like last [sad] ... tear em up in july, save some for me in august
