Flounder slow on the Rapp

Went out yesterday and hit my same old spots between towles bar and and 8. We did dodge the t-storms until late afternoon. First part of the day offered no wind and very poor drift, finally when the tide changed to incoming we did get a fair drift and picked up 4 flounder w/ only one keeper. Bites few and far between. Minnows and squid. Too much freshwater dumped in the river over the last few days I guess. Believe me, I'm not complaining thought, we needed the rain down here. Like I always say, a bad day on the river is better than a good day at work.

I feel your pain. Went out this morning on my boat and only managed 2 shorts and some croaker. Went out this after noon with a friend and caught one short flounder at 7R and a 16" blue. Morning fish were on cut croaker and afternoon was with squid/minnow.
