Does anyone fish in the creeks near Gwynns Island?...such as near Redart. If so, do you use light tackle for any particular species?

I have talked to fellas that have fished the docks in Stutts Creek for Rockfish in October with some success. The islands at hole in the wall are good for an occasional flounder and schoolie rockfish in the fall.

Thanks Pocket Pistol...My son and I waded in some creeks near Mathews Yacht Club today and caught several nice croakers on an incoming tide. Junior reeled in a 2lb 4oz...not bad for a 5 year old. It was something different and was a nice relief from the heat.
