I nominate Goose for October. We got in a few hours last night. At first, things were a little slow on his rod but he just kept getting hotter and hotter as the evening wore on. I don't know if the fish came around to his way of thinking or what, but before it was over he was the only one catching fish and that's the truth. This isn't his biggest fish of the night, but just one of at least a half dozen overs to his credit.

Although I have not been out fishing due to the infant... Dad has been out and got this double 24" on the same rod last week trolling by 85a.

Reference the above...I am download deficient. I have no friggin idea how it is done to this board, so I had to rely on the young-un to post this for me. Fishing by myself ( as he said...new baby) draggin 5 lines and ran over a school. Had two lines go off. The other one got off while I was cranking this one in. Didn't realize I had two, until closer to the boat and the tandem lines were going in opposite directions! OH YEAH!

Thought about going out today but was concerned about the wind and I think I made the right call. I guess I need a bigger boat.
It was good to meet several of you at the monthly meeting this past Thursday night. The lucky ones got a free round.

Congrats to Woody for getting the most out of those large perch fish.

Woody & Pat - Glad to have you guys in the club!

Probably a good thing you didn't go out - it was windy as heck yesterday and will be again today. I am going to give it a shot tomorrow!
