Report - 42 (7/30) and Windmill Bar (7/31)

Took my wife and another couple out Saturday to 42 and drifted for about two hours - picked up a 20" and a 25" inch flattie - we had more bites but they were really timid and you had to let them take a long time - and we were not that patient on the hooksets.

Trolled the bar Sunday in the three footers and caught a mess of 3 pound blues and two nice 19" and 22" Spanish. Once the bite started, it was hard to manage the two rods and steering the boat - great action !

Went to the Cell Sunday for flounder, no luck. The few bites we did have were short bites. Couldn't get them on the hook. We only caught a couple of 2.5lb croaker. We fought the wind, rain, thunder, and lightning most of the day. Finished the day trolling the mouth of the Rapp for spanish, nada.
