I went fishing today with my good friend Jeff on the Severn River at round bay and the tide was high at 6:30am.The wind was 10 to 15 so we left from Smith's Marina at Brown's Creek and we went to Asquith Creek. We were using my new 3/8oz feather spinner baits in chart yellow w/chart yellow and white feathers. We started working the shore line at the flag on the left coming in and sense it was cloudy and cold the fishing was slow.We were only taking perch that were 9" and up and in this creek they were 7" to 12 3/4" and wouldn't you no it I couldn't find one 13" or over. When we were done working the creek we went to Hopkin's Creek and we had 3ft waves,so were was the 15 it was more like 30.At the mouth of Hopkin's the little stripers were everywere but in the creek so we went over to Maynadlers Creek. The perch in both of the last two creek were small so we call it a day at 3:30 and we caught about 75 perch and 4 stripers from 12" to 17 3/4" and my friend Jeff only took 27 nice perch and all the others we let go.So if you want to go fishing with me only on the weekdays leave me a private message and we will talk and go.So good luck and GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS............WOODY:bigfish::yes::thumbup::cla pping2::photo4:
