Headed down to Lake Gaston 10/14 thru 10/17. havent been there in years! I'm on the eastern shore of MD and usually only Bass fish on our local rivers. any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I have not been on the lake in years. I don't think the water has cooled off enough to move most fish off of the points and ledges. Being a tidal river fisherman I go up lake in some of the creeks and look for grass on points and fish the grass beads, buzzbaits in the am worms during the day. I cashed a few checks in tournaments doing this, the guy's fishing deep ledges always had the big bags.
