Yellow or Black 8/15/05

Went out and checked the crab pots this morning. Yellow did as good as the black again. I think the yellow pots are pretty. Got 56 crabs and 8 sponges that went back. Crabs steaming now. It seems that it won't take long to pay for themselves at this rate. Heard some radio chatter about spanish on the north side of Windmill Bar this morning.

Bt mine are in the boat slip shades and the yellow is holding its own there also. Plain wire Galv is catching a little better but is out at end of the dock which might be why. I thought 30 crabs a day was doing well but your really catching them. Fishing always seems better during the week figured the spanish and blues bite is better then. Figured I better metion some fish before someone tells us we should take this to the crabers board.

I hope nobody fusses on this board. At least its some kind of report cause it does get slow sometimes. I do like those yellow pots. Maybe its the bling-bling thing.
