Fished the rt 10 Appomattox bridge tues nite, and caught a 2plus lb crappie on cut bait! Netted scores of striper fingerlings but no grown ups.
Went down to Greys creek in the am, found the ramp was shut down. Went down to Hogs island and put in there for the first time. Met some oyster fisherman who filled our bucket with bueatiful and sweet oysters.
Fished the island points, drifted as close as allowed to the ghost ships, and trolled n jigged the creek to no avail.
Still a great time on the river that we are so lucky to have.
Anyone know of lodging in the Surry area?
