It wasn't a great day. We got blown/rained off the bar before noon.
Still we got 8 macs and 4 blues at the River Watchers secret spots.
It beat the heck out of sitting around the house.

Capt. Dave,
You should have stayed home. We fished Saturday from GW to Smith Point Light catched 30 macks and 10 blues. We saw the dark clouds hanging over Windmill. Figured they were getting blasted. Didn't hear anything on the radio to indicate that it was bad down there. We had a fantastic day.

The Spanish didnt improve after the wind/rain subsided-- trolled for a few hours and had one knockdown.

Thats when our bite really picked up. We ran in to miss the showers and returned around 3 o'clock. Fished until 7p.m.
