Just got back from a long weekend at the rivah.. beautiful weekend, except for that persistant N/NE wind that decided to blow allll weekend... atleast it didnt rain again...
Saturday-- Trolled around windmill bar in the afternoon, and picked up scattered mackerel- never really got into them, but ended the day with 5 in the box, all nice sized, and tossed back a few small blues (small enough to consider throwin them in the livewell).. Picked up SWMBO and went and caught some nice spot at Butler's Hole, starting in 28' and drifting down to 35' -- caught up w/ 'Striper Sniper' and 'Free Spool'- nice fishin w/ yall-
Sunday- Spent the morning piddling around the house/marina, finally venturing out to the Bar late in the afternoon.. fished for about 1.5hrs and picked up 3 mackerel, all in the same spot, directly south of the light.
Monday- Got up late, looked out the window and saw the whitecaps in the river, and went back to bed.

P.S- anybody else notice alot more salt in the bay this weekend?? Seemed like I was wiping off tons of salt off of everything all weekend long.
