In the woods before daylight,@800 a six pointer comes to within 50 yards.so i let him have it went 40 yrds and piled up.sat back enjoying morning at 1010am a five pointer comes strolling by i let him go but not before getting pictures of him with camera. 1030 am had a doe come and lay down at 66yrds.bad thing is she got a education when she seen me move.went back to house to get 4 wheeler wouldnt start. Had a hour long drag back to truck.but all is well for a old man. Got to take son out for a evening hunt.we have been seeing a 8 point in the area. To no avail he doesnt show.but the young bucks are on the prowl.happy hunting fellow tf's.

Nice job on the buck. I sat in the stand for 10 hours yesterday and saw one small buck at 125 yards. I only glimpsed him for about 1 second. The deer don't seem to be moving much right now here in SE Virginia. Hopefully things will pick up this week.

i was in my stand at 515am , alot of movement but when the sun came up it alllll went away (figures) haha. came down eventually ate some food, went back in the woods until dark and didnt see a thinggg! congrats on the kill!!!
