This sunday 11/7/10 I'm fishing IRI. I'm using a 8'penn power stick with a 750 with 15# test . I'll be casting plugs and bucktails. Is this a good outfit for IRI. I have a goretex rain suit and rubber boots to wear out there. would this be good or do i need corkers.

I use lighter braid do to snags in the rocks. If any migratory Rock Fish get there by 11/7 they would be a surprise as their very late this year if that is your game for bucktails?

Yeah, Stripers are what i'm going for. Locale tackle shop say's there getting some rocks durring the day on white bucks with a wht worm on the bucktail. sometimes a few keepers. But there are blues there getting to. Bucktails would be good for blues to without the worm?

Not sure where you got this info but the water temps are almost identical to last year and the year before at this time so things seem to be right on target .

I use 20 # Braid through the warmer months when Schoolies and Smaller Bluefish are around and up it to 40 when the Girls pass by .
I'd get some corkers or fish around someone who has some just in case you need to land that Big Striper ;)

I got it from Old inlet bait & tackle. What is running now. I han't fished the inlet for 20yrs, so it's all new to me.I want to fish real bad.
Any info on what to go after will be helpfull. Thanks
