are the stripers being chummed off the reef now? I'm going down Friday and want to get a plan. Thanks, Mark.

NO...
Went all day yesterday. Chummed LOTS. No one was home. However, a HARD east wind blew all day. Got sea sick, first time in my life!! Bummer of a day. I could have caught zero fish at work!

tuesday afternoon, between 59a and the asphalt pile, lots of breaking fish and chickens. caught plenty od small rock and some nice blues. no legal size rock. caught most on small white umbrellas on botton with a few and most blues on upper lines. not one fish on chartruse. maked more fish south as i headed for noeview but no takers there. good scouting trip but didn't find any quality fish. if the wind allows, i will try northeast of 2r this weekend. we usually have good luck north of the rapp early in the season.

Good or bad, I am going to try 59A area as well on Saturday. Won't be chumming (hopefully in any manner) but will troll to see what is there. We need some cool weather before it starts getting good, I guess.
If anyone is in the area having any luck, give me a shout on 68. I'll do the same. "Time-Line" Grady White 232 with hardtop/twins/riggers.

yeah, that water temp has to drop..I'm just chomping at the bit waiting to get out..I'll go to my usual honey holes, and probably only get throw backs..of course, a couple live spot live lined off the bottom could produce...good luck all.
