boy was it SLOOOW!!!! We went up to the NNF for some chumming, and caught 3 19,19, 21 in 6 hoirs of fishing. fish were healthy though. Was a full moon last night or was it the fleet boats working the area very hard today. Did not see much on any other boats either. Was a good day thought[grin]

My brother-in-law and I went out for a last hooray for spot. Started below Whitestone in the Rapp - no current. Moved out to the Spike to join the gang there - current but only small fish. Out to just south of the mouth of Piankatank and anchored in 28 feet. Good current, each of us fishing one rod with bloodworms, one with cut spot. Did good until we got blown off anchor about 2 p.m. Not spot, only had the occassional nice fish and not even many small ones, but good numbers of grey trout, a couple blues, and a half dozen nice croaker. After we got blown out went back up Rapp and got a couple more spot and trout. Kept 12 trout 12-15 inches, and an assortment of the other species. Pretty day!
