Rockfish off the beach

Hey guys,
I am headed down this weekend to pull my boat and am trying to get out on Saturdat to scare up some rockfish. Anybody been out and have any luck? Feel free to PM any sensitive information (I am not fishing in the Ake Tournament!).

I'm thinking of heading out for a few hours tomorrow afternoon...not sure if I will look for birds or just fish eels. Rich, any thoughts on whether I should turn left or right out of the inlet?

Ill be fishing there Black Friday and the weekend now that they have showed up
