Took my wife Amy and bashed throught the surf to Stingray area to see birds and trollers working equally hard. We got upwind, cut the motors, and dropped some jigs but the trolling boats kept running through them and moving them off. They probably thought the same of me.
Threw some Windcheaters and storms at some shallow local structure and managed a 19", sat in the boat and turned the motors off for a nice drift. Caught a few dinks, blues, and took it in the barn early. Nice day out on the water. Hope the weather turns and we get the big ones soon.
