caught my first striper

Well, we finally got a day on the water and went striper fishing out of Deltaville. Near Stingray Point we found seagulls feeding. My hubby put the lines in and we started trolling. It wasn't long before we had two fish on. We both got one! Mine was only 17" but his was a keeper!

We stayed with the fish for about an hour and caught about a dozen. Most were too small but we had three keepers. This may not sound like much to most of you but I was excited. I am really looking forward to the bigger fish that everyone talks about.

Yo Jimmy-they remind me so much of Sherry and I when we started Stripin' 6 years ago. Remember when you took us out wire lining and every body on the dock was betting we'd get sick out on those 3-4 ftrs. Remember when Troy radioed and had three guys sick on board and asked about how we were doing. We were suckin' up Buds and having the time of our life. That was so much fun and it sounds like Dix and hubby are doing the same. No-I'm going to take BT Toggin'! We wont be there this weekend but will next from here on out. Would like for Dix and husband to come by and experience F-dock. Its calmed down a lot since those days!
