Just purchased 2 new Okuma V-system V55's and need rods to go with them. Plan is to spool them with 30lb braid for general purpose use in the bay. I'll use them eeling and casting/jigging. Looking at 7' or 7'6" MH Teramar or 7'3" MH Carrot Stix Inshore. I"ve got a couple Teramars and like them, never tried the Carrot Stix. The Carrot Stix are usually more expensive but their on sale right now about $10 cheaper than the Teramar.

I could care less about color, so which would you choose? Is there something else I should be considering in the $100 - $120 price range?

I typically use baitcasters for this type of stuff but have found them to be problematic with guest on the boat so adding some spinning gear.

For that kind of money I would go custom. I can build you one heck of a custom rod for about the same price.

Oh, and Jaybr you made the right choice by going with the Teramars. I have both and the action on the Teramars are better and more reponsive than the Carrots. Not to mention the Teramar Blank can take a heck of a lot more than rated.
