We were moving my boat from Kilmarnock to Portsmouth for some repairs...but we decided to drop some lines and have a little fun.
We hooked up right away under the birds at Windmill Point. It was a dink...funny thing was that it hit on an 11/0 Crippled Alewife that was on the 1 line that we had out rigged for bubba. Pretty ambitious fish. It wasn't much bigger than the bait.
One note is that we were about 1-2 miles further out from Windmill Point than we have been over the last 4 weeks.
After about an hour of trolling, we got a double hook-up. Two of the FATTEST 20" fish that I have ever seen. One actually looks deformed where its stomach ballons out. You can see my bucktail in the lower right corner.
