I'm wondering how the shoot thru hull transducer works with these units. What do you guys think is best other than a thru hull which i prefer not to use?

I have three transducers, a shoot thru, a transom mount, an a thru hull.

Most recent Rockfish outing, using the transom mount 83/200 transducer.
The shoot thru gives the same results. Also have an AIRMAR B60, but
it is a narrow beam transducer. Doesn't show fish arches unless I use it
on the 50KHZ setting. Also the AIRMAR does not show as much surface clutter.
I use the Lowrance transducers the majority of the time.

The shoot thru hull transducer, PD-WBL works great. Good target separation, clarity and detail. Just make sure there is no metal or air space under the area where you put the transducer.
