"RockHead" Rick put our guest, Capt. Tom (Miss Ella Charters), and myself on a couple of nice fish today. Capt. Tom landed a beautiful 40" stripper and I pulled in a 33". I hated to see the 33" go back in the water but it was fun landing him. It was a beautiful day on the bay.

Congradulations! Could you help us out and offer a little information. Type of bait used? Water depth? General area?
Did you see birds or were you blind trolling?

Captain Tom's got the touch haven't met him face to face yet but traded some emails with him. Good guy and Captain. Seems to always end up where the fish are at.

Tom's a geat guy. We couldn't ask for a better fishing partner. He had a party on the Miss Ella Saturday and tore them up!!!!

We were blind trolling at the cut channel. I caught Sundays
fish on a Stretch 30 , on Saturday the big ones liked the Mojo.
Two fish (39" & 44") literally swallowed a 20oz. Mojo with a 9"
Sassy Shad attached! I've heard stories about fish biting the
Mojo , but that was a first for me. I definately made some
"Repeat Customers" on Saturdays charter.

I should have called in sick today!!

The 33" was on an umbrella rigged with 9" sassy shad. I don't think any were caught in less than 30' of water.

Thanks! It always helps to get at least some general info when you hear about someone catching nice fish, and you're not!

No, I didn't make it on Sunday. I played around in the river on Saturday with nothing to show for it but dinks. Friday I'm moving to Deltaville for the month of December.
