I think ron's still in shock in that photo; trust me he had a smile from ear to ear.... I think the inside spread was like 24.5 or something like that....

You might as well quit hunting. You will never top that outside of Texas or Iowa. Please tell us the story of the kill. An unbelivable deer like that requires a narrative.

Those are some beautiful deer you're taking! Great to see your kids getting out there, but you're spoiling them at a young age! : )

Be honest... he shot that deer because it was drinking his coors light. I see those cans in the bed...

Those were the "after the hunt" drink while we hung and skinned deer and told the stories of the days hunt; isn't that how it's supposed to work? .... and we're always looking for sponsors :)

I figured as much...I was just giving you a hard time. I'd need a beer, a cigarette (non-smoker), a paper bag to breath into, a shot of top shelf tequilla, and a slap in the face if I shot that deer... That is an outstanding buck, and the hunter should be proud. Heck, I'm proud for him.
From what county was it taken?

Congratulations to you and your son on some mighty nice bucks, but how and the heck did you let that bruiser slip out of the family's reach. Especially to that riparian ruffian Ron.:) I guess on a conciliatory note, in that second photo, for a massive rack, it sure is a small bodied deer.:)
