I am thinking of installing a power pole on my boat. My question is for those who have them, are you satisfied with their preformance and durability and also whats the cost for installation?
They work. Depending on boat size and how strong the current is, they can be a little tricky to get out of the mud.
I have the 6 ft on a 24-ft bay boat, and 3 foot depth is about the limit it can hold in moderate current of maybe 2-3 knots. It would hold a smaller boat better, but if I had to do it again I'd get the 8 ft.
