I was gonna do bacon-wrapped bites for the party but was thinking of just smoking it up, putting in a blender w/ some stuff, and mashing it down into a pate'. Anyone have a good recipe they use?
Mmmmm....fresh liver......

I cook the liver in boiling water until done, approx 20 minutes. I then put it in the food processor and grind it up. Don't really use a recipe but here's what I do and it tastes great. I use about 1/2 cup of mayo, 1/2 stick of butter melted, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1 small chopped onion, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp pepper, 5 strips of bacon cooked crisp and crumbled, 2 eggs hard boiled and minced. Mix it all together and serve on crackers or bagels. Tastes good warm or cold. Man I'm hungry!............Gary

Gary-
I'd need to add 1/2 cup sherry too! Sounds good! I'm on it! Thanks....

I have two recipes for deer liver...
1. pull out of deer and leave for crows
2. pull out of deer and place on large hook for catfish
