Trolled the entire day Saturday around the Cut Channel
and R2 without a single hit!
I didn't even see any promising marks on the finder.
I'm going again on Monday and plan to go South to
the 36 area. I'm off from work for the rest of the year
and would love to have a few more good catches.

we fished sat and marked plenty of fish and bait in the 59a/rp area. also marked fish between 53 and 2r. closer to 2r but no bait there. i know with the moon and ne wind, catching conditions weren't the best. temp 39 to 41. 2 years ago a larege school of rock wintered off gwynns island and we caught and released fish all during jan and feb with the water temp in mid 30's. broke ice coming out of broad creek. i don't think all the fish ever leave the bay, but feeding habits probably change when it gets cold and bunker leave the area.

You are right Frog , fishing is always slow during the full moon.
Maybe we will still have some good days before the end of the season.
Is anybody else going to be out there tomorrow?

I've heard that the big fish are still around Delaware/ Maryland/ Assateague. I'm gambling on the week after Christmas.
