Trolled the Cut from 0900 till 1400, no hits. SST 41*. Ran to 42 and immediately got into birds and fish. Caught a couple 26" and a few between 18" and 22", along with a handful of dinks. Great day - warmed up, and the seas were fairly calm. SST 43*. All in all, a good winter's day. Most fish were caught on white 12" umbrellas or daisy chain storms. Umbrellas 10-20' down, daisy chains off the bottom behind mojos.

Thanks for the report.
We also made a short trip this afternoon to 42. A lot of seagulls and there were some fish biting, but generally small and not voracious while I was there. Still, some keepers and a lot of bait. The ones I caught were between 16 and 20 inches. The keepers I cleaned had little tiny minnows in their stomachs! Caught on chartreuse Stretch 25, white and green/red “storms”. Heard a few reports of bigger fish. A beautiful day. Relatively calm. Water 42 degrees at buoy 42 and closer to 40 degrees at Windmill Point. Good to see you can still catch rocks in the bay.

Thanks for the report! I've got a crew heading out on Friday and we're thinking of heading out that way. Let's hope the weather men actually called it right this week.

Here's to tight lines and screamin' drags.....Cheers
