Time to winterize?

Norview will close on the 23rd until after the first of the year for the holidays. Since I have I/O's and it's on the rack, I think I'd better head down tomorrow to fog the engines. I already flushed it with anti-freeze, but had hoped the bite would turn on in order for a few more days of fishing.

I guess this season is over for me in the bay.

Is it just me or did I seem to miss the whole rockfish frenzy? A good friend told me that this is the third year in a row the bite had been slow.

Any thoughts?

Heading out one more time Monday Chiles - it has been a weird year. We only found the big ones twice but I had a buddy that got one at 40" nice and fat at 42 two weekends ago. They really seem to be scattered and I can't see running to NC to get them. See you in the spring, although I think I am going to move the Jezebel II south in the spring.

With Norview closing 12/23, is there going to be anywhere around Broad Creek to buy gas next week?

Thanks. I did not realize they had pumps. Weather permitting, I will run down there Monday. A high price is better than lugging 70 gallons down 42 steps to my slip.

went down this morning and cleaned the frog and put her away for the winter. bad company was next to me doing the same thing. my brother has his boat on a lift in mathews and i am sure we will make a few expiditions into the bay this winter just to see what is there. planning now on some early c&r trips to try those big cows on their way to md in the early spring.
