Bubba in the boat

Closed out the lackluster year with a 40 inch fat, fast and healthy rockfish named Bubba. Two miles east of 38 and soon there after a regular sized keeper. After several weeks of not much this was a thrill. Still have the fly rod in the boat that we used off Windmill bar last month to play with the school bass. Today a Stretch 30 chatreuse plug was the lure of choice. beat out the daisy chain, and tandem storms. On the way back up to Indian Creek, the sun broke out of the clouds just before sunset and we can't wait for spring rock season. Happy New Year!

Congrats Ginger. Nice fish. Catchem up Chuck how the Seawolf running and what did you find the problem was? Josh and I are staying on the boat tonight down at Remlik and will give them a try off the Dock around the light line. Henry and I will be fishing next week Ocean side. Happy New Years to Everyone.
