Has Anybody ever fished Motts Run in Fredericksburg?

Has Anybody ever fished Motts Run in Fredericksburg? I am fishing a tourney and could use some help won't have oppurtunity to practice and don't have a map or a clue nver ever even been there before. I would appreciate it. Any of you all fishing it this weekend?

yes, lots of fish. i will check on secret spots. Eilybird on here used to fish a lot of bass tourneys and won his fair share too. send him a bmail.

Otherwise, the dam and the different little coves hold all kinds of fish.

Much of the lake has extremely steep dropoffs right from the bank. If you don't know where to fish it might be a long day, and no I dont have any idea either, just what Ive been told.

fish the many beaver huts and fallen trees. there are lots of places!Chesleys tackle shop is gone i think? but Kens or Dicks sporting at mall area should have a chart of motts run reservoir. call me if you like we lived there for 24 yrs. right up the road. jim pike 410-798-6952
