Got back from sea Saturday - took the week off - got bored and started a couple small projects to keep me busy (and to keep me out of Happy Harbor).
Crap sliding around on the boat is one of my pet peeves. I have a couple of small baskets on the dash/helm for keys, lighters and what not. The dinette has two drawers which are nice but stuff is constantly sliding around in those too
At the hardware store I ran across some rubber drawer liner and I got to thinking....
- Took the drawers from the dinette, a couple smalll tackle trays and the baskets and used a hot glue gun to put the rubber matting on the bottoms. If nothing else it will keep things in the drawers from rattling.
On the drawers, I only put "dots" of hot glue that way I can remove it later without a bunch of work.
