Mon in F-burg i only had 20 mins free but caught white perch, bass, sunfish.

today, tues, caught dozen shad. nice big ones.

lots of people fishing, water is still gin clear.

I was down Sunday afternoon. I didn't have any luck. Saw a few chase the shad dart. What were you using? I am going to try to head down this afternoon if the weather is good.

i switch around a lot between darts spoons and jigs to find what they are hitting.

Fish must be biting. I rode past the Rappahanock in F'burg today and all the streets were filled with empty work trucks!

Shad on the James at I95 was slow for me today. Some guy with fly rods was killing them. I'm going to take my fly rod next Monday.

Yep its a messed up year on the rapp. The yellow perch were in the last two days....the herring that were in last week have disappeared....and the white perch are here one day and not the next....but the shad are still hitting if you know where how and what they want. I don't know if I'm wearig them out or if they are wearing me out.[tongue]
