striper season around windmill point

I was wondering when the trophy striper season came in. I will be fishing around the windmill point area. Also are the fish up there yet? I am still new to the area so any help would be great. Thank you and good luck.

trophy season opens 5-1-06. I havent had a chance to get out and fish yet, however i have picked up rock around wm point at the beginning of the season last several years and with this mild winter it may even be better this year. I am going to try and slip out this weekend coming and try to do some scout fishing around the point. maybe we will see you out there

Buddy of mine hooked up with one striper 47" yesterday 1 mile east of windmill. Catch and release..after pictures of course! No other bites, action is still slow but the catch is large.
