Furuno 667 or 585 FishFinders?

Looking for pros and cons as to which one to buy or is there another. I have been looking online and narrowed it down to these two but am open to any advice. I am considering the Garmin 492 for GPS and Furuno 1715 radar. What can the GPS & FF send to radar with the 0183 or whatever it is called? I know you need a lot more equipment and a network for the overlay but that is getting too pricey for me. Thanks for any help anyone can give![smile]

I've got the 667 interfaced to the 1715 which then shows the lat/lon in big letters on the 1715. Why do you need that info on the 1715?, got me, just thought it would be something else to look at.[grin]
