We got out onto the water late around 3:00pm and started at #9 in the Potomac. After getting the lines wet for 10 minutes first fish. 34" wieghing in at 15lbs. Nice fish thought we hooked a piece of wood at first becuase there was a point where we couldn't reel the rod in nor pull the fish towards the boat. It was dead weight and wouldn't move. Caught on Charaterus umbrella on one of the green and white buck tail with a green sassy shad with a 6 oz trolling weight added on. Trolling at 3.5 Knots and 110 feet back. Trolled down to #7 and back to #9. In another hour and caught another 35" fish wieghing in at 16lbs right before the deep hole on the maryland side of #9. Caught it on a charaterus umbrella on a green head and white body bucktail(was a little different from the other bucktail matching the rest of the umbrella) with a 6oz wieght. Also trolling at 3.5 knots but 85 feet back. Was great day and the three of us on the boat were having a blast. Will be out next weekend. Hoping for calm seas
