Last Saturday we put in at the public boat landing in West Point at about 9am. Ran to Bells Light looking for fish and saw very few on the screen. Ran around some more and picked a spot marking fish in about 14’ of water about 1 mile west of Bells Light.

Put about 30 nice ones in the box over the next two hours. 1-2# fish with one double and a couple of eels. (I hate those things!)

Great trip with the Family and not too bad on gas. 4 diners worth in the fridge too!

Yep. I was on the north side (Left if your looking downstream) near the cahnel edge about a mile west of the light. (Half way between West Point and the tower.)

Very few marks but they were there.

The bite was on Shrimp first for about the first hour and then they shut off. Switched to squid and they turned back on again.

We rode by a lot of people fishing in groups looking for fish without seeing them really catching a lot and the fish finder was showing nothing.

If you find a few bottom marks, get on 'em. You'll catch plenty.
