When do the spanish arrive

Planning a trip to windmill point on July 15th. will be looking for spanish. Should they be there at that time, or is that a tad early.

HEY, I've caught them in later july and august, depends on temp.s, but you can still look for them in with taylor blues, breaking the water, try windmillbar area, clark spoons #1 and #2 planers, usually silver or gold work best for me, best of luck, p

Thanks for the info.

I'll be bringing the boat down from Breezy Point and looking for a transient slip overnight. Anyone know of a good marina near windmill point? Preferably with a bathhouse and restaurant.

I don't think they have a place to eat but Norview Marina is clean, good facilities and right across the river from windmill point.

years past, they have been at windmill on july 4th weekend. this year w/ everything running ahead of schedule, I am going to try thursday. Will post report then.
