looking to replace my 6-6 senators with some 5'6" rods the tackel cove rod looks good ,does any one know any thing about them? i looked at the ande rods havent herd much about them either 15-30 or20-40 i run 320&330s reels trying to stay in the $60-80 range:help:

The components they list are decent. Don't know about the blanks. Carbon blend is a pretty generic term for a blank.
Depends on what your doing. I'd go #20-40 min, #30-50 for the bigger stuff. I run #20 on the boards and #30 everywhere else.

I have run a number of rods in my spread. My favorite non custom board rod are thoes. Medium action, semi stiff tip, enough backbone to catch doubles but light enough to get a good bend in them when catching 36" fish. They are perfect for tandems off the boards. Very similar to the Ande rods.
They double as a good summer trolling rod for tandems, and small spoon umbrellas. I have pulled #1 planers on them with good results. They are a little light for the # 2 planers, and umbrellas with more than 4 teaser shads.
