Do any of you guys have this hooked up to your hds units.I'm trying to decide if i want to add it to my hds8.The rebates are over today so i gotta decide quickly.I would prefer not to get a heading sensor but not sure how it will work without one.I do know getting caught out in the fog without radar really sucks.

I have it and I like it seems better than the old stuff but haven't used it that much without the heading sensor you can't overlay it on the gps chart. I was in sandy point playing around with it and was able to show every bird sitting in the water. but again it was zoomed in and claim flat

The rebates are now good until the end of may.

Can't see that anyone would ever need more that this radar out in the bay and rivers.
Have not got to use it or the boat much at all but will as soon as it gets a little warmer.
Don't pay that big money for installation, it was very easy and there is just no radar setup.
Turn it on and it's ready.

Radar chart overlay does require a heading sensor. I already had one (KVH Autocomp 1000).

These pictures were "right out of the box" with the boat setting in the boat yard.
