Sounds like Bombardier has made some changes since they bought out OMC. Mercury better look out now.
I think it may be what I get when I get a new boat.

I saw the "Info-mercial" on the new Evinrude e-Tec 2-stroke, and it looks like a super engine. Apparently even better than the Mercury Verado in head to head tests. I do not plan on being in the market for a new boat for years, but if I were to buy one now I would definitely take a real hard look at the Saltwater e-Tec. THREE years before first recommended service, 2-stroke hole-shot, near 4-stroke fuel economy and emissions. That is hard to beat!
